Our story
Photo Independent was conceived as a curated international showcase for the work of high-calibre independent photographers. It began in 2014 in Hollywood, California, founded by Chris Davies — art publisher, creative director and gallery owner.
A decade on, the fair is an unparalleled forum for direct contact and exchange between photographers and the collectors, curators and art professionals who follow the medium. Editions now run alongside several prestigious North American and European art fairs, dramatically expanding the exposure available to exhibitors.
