Started in 2014 in Hollywood, California by Chris Davies, art publisher, designer and gallery director, the fair presents a visual montage of today’s diverse photographic landscape by some of the most inspiring talent in the world.

An unparalleled forum for the direct contact and exchange between photographers and collectors, curators and art professionals, Photo Independent now partners with several prestigious North American and European art fairs, dramatically expanding new opportunities for participating exhibitors to gain valuable exposure. In 2021, Photo Independent also debuted a highly successful online edition, Photo Independent Virtual Fair.
