Stage 7, Booth 106
Drawing on her experience as a painter, printmaker, graphic designer, garden designer, and conceptual artist, Susan Keiser uses photography to describe her world. Not the day-to-day of it, but memories and dreams, desires and fears, revelations and reflections-all the things that can’t be seen or understood until pictured. She has exhibited at Soho Photo Gallery in NY and The Center for Fine Art Photography in CO. She was selected to participate in the 2014 TPS International Traveling Exhibition, the Images 2014 exhibition at the Fairfield Museum, CT; and the current online exhibition of Soulcatcher Studio, NM. In 2012 Rockefeller & Co. commissioned 11 photographs for their headquarters, and her images can be seen in Lenscratch and VASA Journal of Images and Culture. The recipient of an NEA grant Keiser has also created site-specific sculptures for institutions such as the Milwaukee Art Museum; Walker Art Center, Rockefeller Center, and the International Design Conference in Aspen.
