Richard Slechta’s work investigates the boundaries of photographic abstraction through a hybrid of painting and photography. Over the past two decades he has pursued light, space and form in his striking and highly innovative photograms.
Slechta currently has a solo exhibition at Museum of Arts & Sciences, Macon, GA. He has had additional solo exhibitions at Gallery 825 in Los Angeles in 2015 and at the Mattie Kelly Fine and Performing Arts Center, Niceville, FL in 2014. His group exhibitions include those at Gallery 825, Los Angeles; Malibu Lumber Yard, Malibu, CA and The Hanger Art Gallery, Santa Monica, CA.
