f8 Collective was formed from being inspired by Group f64, which was put together by Willard Van Dyke and Ansel Adams.
In early 2015 eight women from Chicago decided that great things could happen when they joined forces to work together. This group of women wanted to help each other to create and carry out projects, exhibits and support one another. They call themselves the f8 Collective, referring to the settings of an analog camera.
