What can you say about someone with only 3 scattered years of “taking snapshots”? In 2011 Jerry had the audacity to purchase his first real camera with capabilities far beyond his comprehension, and depress the shutter button. Repeatedly. Before that, zilch. Does Jerry come from a long line of esteemed photographers? No. Did he start taking photographs at an early age? No. Shoot for the high school yearbook? Nope. Won any awards, grants or scholarships? Not a one. Documented any disappearing cultures or endangered species? Negatory. Had any photographic training whatsoever? Nada. That’s quite a bio. But Jerry’s not content to rest on his laurels. He continues to pursue capturing images that capture his attention. And some might even be in focus.
