Helen K. Garber

Helen K. Garber is known for her night urban landscapes taken in cities such as Los Angeles, New York, Paris and Venice, Italy. Her images are exhibited internationally and her work is in museum, private and corporate collections. She is a recipient of the 2014 Santa Monica Artist Fellowship Grant. She has directed up to 50 artists at a time in a number of multi-media installations. Ms. Garber’s studio is located at 801 Ocean Front Walk, Venice Beach and she has created a number of Venice Beach themed projects. They will be on view when her studio will be open on May 4, 2014 as part of the Venice Art Block and again on May 18 for the Venice Art Walk. She began to work in photo-based mixed media in 2010. The first piece sold was acquired by MOMA Dublin, Ireland. An exhibit of her latest work is presently on view at AD Gallery: Contemporary Fine Art in Beverly Hills, CA. Amy Delaporte, director of AD Gallery, will be representing Ms. Garber at Photo Independent.
